Instead I’m not going to write about anything. Or indeed everything (maybe next time). That is to say, I will proceed [...]

I recently had a university interview, which didn’t go according to my plan. As I sat there, clammy handed, trying to impress three strangers and convince them I was a deserving candidate for their course; it seemed ludicrous that they would be able to know my character, strengths, weaknesses and passions in all [...]

Now UCAS is done and dusted, supposedly, but was the rush all worth it? For weeks, everyone has been rushing around to meet the UCAS deadline, checking their personal statements several million times to make sure they fit the word count, and portray what they wanted. Seriously, how many drafts of that personal [...]

Review: Simon Amstell
Venue: Oxford Playhouse
Rating: ****
Simon Amstell, the hilariously witty former host of Popworld and Never Mind the Buzzcocks, delved deep into his own insecurities and angst during his new stand-up routine to deliver a very touching and personal performance. Coupled with his own memories and philosophical contemplations the performance was not only [...]

It’s that time of year again, when every article includes “It’s that time of the year again” somewhere near the front – like some horrific ideology of clichéd media (that ISN’T Katie Price or Princess Diana).
