As a way of keeping people informed we have put together a little news section to let people know what’s going on and comment on any events or stories happening within college.

So this week is Love week within college, as we all get ready for Valentine’s Day, student services are going all out this year with cards, presents, the works.  You can even go to the top of Paul Woodhouse and have your photo taken or write messages to your loved one, be it friends or boyfriends and girlfriends.  These will be put up on the “wall of love” for everyone to see!  This is all being done to raise money for the charity Bliss, helping premature babies.  We would love to know what you think of the college’s ways of raising money for charity!  Do you think they should stick to the old buckets for spare change or do you like the themed events?  Let us know by leaving your comments below!

Sunday night hails the official end to exams and the beginning of half term with the Foam Party, held at The Square in Southampton.  If you want a night full of foam and fun get your ticket from student services for £6!

This week The Buzz set up its very own Facebook group.  We want you to get in touch and let us know what you think of the magazine and what more we can do with it!  Let us know about anything you want us to cover and we will do our best to get on to it.  Join it and have your say!

What’s going on in Winchester?

This half term, head on down to The Theatre Royal Winchester, as the Encore Youth Theatre put on their unique production of ‘Pirates of Penzance’, starring members from college’s A2 Drama and Theatre Studies group, it’s sure to be an adventurous show.  You can catch it from the February 18th to February 21st (with a Saturday matinee).  Call 01962 840440 for tickets or visit http://www.theatre-royal-winchester.co.uk
